Matt Ragazzo Joins NDC as VISTA Volunteer

NDC’s Baltimore office warmly welcomes Matt to the team as he begins his year as an AmeriCorps VISTA Volunteer! He comes to us from North Carolina, where he graduated from University of North Carolina with a degree in public health, a minor in urban planning, and a strong interest in architecture.

Well traveled, Matt recently backpacked throughout Italy, India, and Southeast Asia. He’s also volunteered in Moldova with Engineers without Borders on a water and sanitation project in rural schools. But what you should really ask him about is his hobby of underwater hockey.

Building on a previously completed summer design program at the Harvard Graduate School of Design, Matt is excited to tackle this year’s VISTA project of outreach and research on sustainable construction opportunities in residential communities in Greater Homewood. He plans to pursue his Masters in Architecture after the conclusion of his year of service.
