Volunteers Needed – Prince George’s County
Seeking Architects who would like to make a big difference in the quality of life of disadvantaged citizens. The Arc of Prince George’s County serves adults who have physical and mental challenges. NDC has worked closely with the Arc of Prince George’s County on several previous projects, and is again looking for TWO architects to create conceptual designs for the renovation of two group homes in the College Park area. This should not take too many hours of your time but will be very rewarding. The plans will include modest additions to older homes, modifications to bathrooms and corridors, and making all homes fully handicapped accessible. If you are interested in volunteering, please contact Jan Townshend at (301) 779-6010 or jtownshend@ndc-md.org.
