Community Investment Tax Credit Program (CITC)

In December, Governor Martin O'Malley announced that the Neighborhood Design Center was one of 35 non-profits statewide that will receive Maryland Community Investment Tax Credits (CITC) in 2010.  This means that any company or individual who makes a minimum donation of $500 will receive a 50% Maryland state tax credit (i.e. $250 for a $500 donation) in addition to the regular state and federal tax deductions for charitable giving.

Donations to NDC's CITC program will be used to support "Green by Design" - providing community leaders with green educational workshops and pro-bono design services.

For more information on how you can take advantage of the CITC program, contact Mark Cameron at 410-233-9686 x102.
