Business / Corporate Tax Credits

For the past two years, several firms have made a smart investment in improving local communities by participating in NDC ’s Community Investment Tax Credits (CITC) program.  This program provided a 50% tax credit to Maryland-based businesses for charitable donations of $500 and as much as $250,000 per year.  Most importantly, these donations allowed us to help communities improve schools, parks, and community open spaces.  This program was so successful that we awarded all of our tax credits allocated by the State and have no more remaining in 2007.

We will be reapplying for additional tax credits for 2008 - so please check back in the Fall of 2007 for an update on our progress.

NDC would like to thank the following companies who took advantage of our tax credits:

Vinton Schaefer & Sons * Obrect Commercial Real Estate Inc. * Design Collective * Ballard Spahr Andrews & Ingersoll LLP * Ziger/Snead LLP * Cliftara Bed & Breakfast * Rummel, Klepper & Kahl, LLP * Notari Associates, PA * Edwards and Kelcey * Metroscape Development Inc. * Cho Benn Holback & Associates, Inc. * Harkins Builders, Inc.
