Gateway CDC's leading strategy in jumpstarting development in the Arts District is to guide the development of buildings, one in each of the four towns of the district.  The Mount Rainier Artist Lofts is the first anchor building that has been completed, and therefore the most special project in this Facade Improvement Program.

The Mount Rainier Artist Lofts is a mixed-use building owned by Artspace that combines artist related retail on the ground floor, community rooms and studios, and 44 artist affordable live/work rental units.  The facade improvement for the building includes signage for all three businesses (Artmosphere Cafe, H+F Fine Arts, and Strictly Business/Alpha Omega) and sign and four banners to highlight the artists who live/work in the building.

Artspace, the business owners, the artists, and the Mount Rainier MUTC Review Committee are pleased to have NDC designing signage for this building.  We have beeen able to move the process along so that the signage designs meet the needs of everyone involved.
